Consultation-
Dr. Catherine Thayer meets with the
bride and groom in person, via telephone, or internet prior to the
ceremony. If you desire, communication and prenuptial
counseling is available. These sessions teach you techniques
for effective communication. Furthermore, they touch on other
relevant issues necessary for living a rewarding and fulfilling
married life.
Ministerial Fees
Basic Ceremony-
$300.00
Ideal for the couple who wants a short basic wedding ceremony.
Includes one telephone consultation and unlimited emails, custom
ceremony script, officiating the ceremony and filing of marriage
license.
Standard Ceremony
$325.00
For
the couple who is seeking a more customized wedding ceremony.
Includes ;up to two telephone consultations and/or a personal
meeting before the ceremony, unlimited emails, custom keepsake
ceremony script, officiating the ceremony, and filing of marriage
license.
Plus Ceremony- $400.00
A truly customized and personalized ceremony for the couple's
celebration of their love for one another. Includes up to two
telephone consultations and/or short personal meeting prior to
rehearsal, unlimited emails, custom keepsake ceremony script,
participation at rehearsal, officiating the ceremony, filing of
marriage certificate.
Deposit:
A 50% deposit is required to confirm the date and time with the
balance due by the day of the ceremony.
Additional Fees
I am a traveling minister and will come to your location. I do
request to be reasonably compensated for travel expenses when
traveling to locations beyond a 150 miles radius of Pocono Lake, PA
. A fee of 75 cents per mile, one way, from the 25 mile mark
(ref: Map Quest) will be added to the ceremony fee.
Compensation for reasonable lodging is also requested fro weddings
involving 200 miles of travel and separate day rehearsal if over 125
miles.
The Marriage License
You must purchase your marriage at the County Courthouse. The
current fee range for a license is $30-$65. There is a 3 day
waiting period from the day you apply until the day of issuance and
it is the responsibility of the officiate to file a copy of the
signed marriage certificate with the county clerk who issued it.
Licenses are valid for up to 60 days after issuance.
